How to get around?

The hills of Monserrate and Guadalupe are the main reference; the carreras, which are roads, have an orientation parallel to these in a north-south direction and their numbering increases from east to west. The streets run perpendicular to the hills, in an east-west direction and their numbering increases from south to north. In the city you will also find transversals and diagonals; the former have the same orientation as the carreras, while the latter follow that of the streets. For their part, avenues can be carreras, such as Avenida Carrera 30, or streets, such as Avenida Calle 26

Public Transportation: Bogotá’s public transportation is an integrated system that combines different means of transport, such as TransMilenio, the SITP, TransMiCable and the future Metro. These means of transport allow you to move around the city quickly and economically. If you want to use this means of transport you need a card called Tullave, which you can buy and recharge at the stations or online, but Bogotá also has several Apps where you will find a variety of means of transport.

When visiting the city, you can marvel at the charm of its architecture. In Bogotá you will find how different styles are mixed, from modern buildings to the facades of old houses that are authentic colonial treasures.

Thanks to this fusion between past and present, in the capital you will find an ideal destination with history, fun, gastronomy, culture, business and much more.
